This inspiring piece was developed for Rambert Dance Company’s ‘Season of New Choreography’ by Duckeye, this video was just a motion control test but it’s still amazing and I can’t wait to see the finished product.

Robert Rodriguez – Director of films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk Til Dawn (1996), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Planet Terror (2007), Grind House (2007), Machete (2010), Sin City (2005), Sin City 2 (2012) and Sin City 3 (2012) explains how he made the film, ‘El Mariachi’ (1992) on a minuscule budget of $7,000.
Rodriguez shares the techniques he uses to capture footage with as little fuss, film, time and money as possible – valuable information for all digital creatives! By filming in this way Rodriguez spent little time capturing the shots he needed, and quickly and cleverly made short cuts from the film and turned it into something that looked a million dollars – it did back in them days anyway!
